Ready-peeled potatoes - anyone tried and would you recommend?

I can't use my right hand properly at the moment and have people coming for dinner twice next week. I can't be bothered to think of an alternative menu to the one I've already perfected, but it needs potatoes and it i can't hold a peeler!

Are the ready-peeled ones any good and if so where to buy please?

I've bought asda ready peeled loads of times, I think they are £1 only ever used them for roasties though but they come out fabulously!

Too busy to peel potatoes for anything but roast when there's gravy and even then not always - do you really need peeled?

Asda do potato slices which are nice. They are beside the fruit and vegetables in prepacks like the stirfry veg. They have a coating on and go nice and crispy on outside in the oven.
