You know, boiled eggs and marmite soldiers, simple home cooked light meals like that? I want to do more of these in my regular cycle of meals, but my mind is blank...

DD likes beans with a poached egg on top and cheesy beans. Anything with beans really. She also likes soup and soldiers.

A couple of times a month (normally a Friday) mine will have ham (or poss, salmon or pork pie), bread/bagel, olives, tomato, cucumber, carrot, feta, sweetcorn, etc

Or it will be boiled egg and soldiers for dd, baked beans & toast for ds.

easy and good for them

FrannyandZooey · 20/03/2006 21:15

Oops sorry

I just use a bit of grated cheddar, and my favourite, red pesto. They are seriously nice, though quite unhealthy I suppose (salty, saturated fat etc). I use wholemeal pittas which helps. As a family we have worked our way through a bag of pittas on more than one occasion Blush

The pizza thing is also good with tortilla wraps, give each child one and let them decorate it themselves and get a bag of mixed chedder and mozzerella to save time, use chopped tomatoes with some herbs in instead of puree.

Also mix up gtated cheese, chopped veg Peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, sweetcorn ect place a tortilla in a frying pan top with mixture them put on another tortilla on top and heat through, then turn over when done cut into slices serve with guacamoley and creme fresh.... yum yum i sometimes add cooked chicken or canned kidney beans

JiminyCricket · 21/03/2006 20:36

Oh yum now I am heading for the kitchen... Smile thanks all
