my old mixer broke yesterday, after ten years

There I was whipping up some cake mix and my trusty old mixer kind of slowed down, made a kind of phut noise and died. RIP. It was 10.

I've had a quick look at MN reviews section (which has some Kenwoods on there) Before I go onto Which etc does anyone have any recommendations for a new one? I would like it to: mix cake mix with a blade; chop veg; grind almonds or nuts; have quite a sturdy mixing bowl (although not too heavy); be under £100 (if poss). Any ideas appreciated.

I have a Kenwood - it has the blender, mixer, and food processor. I like it.

My suggestion would be to try and wait until Tesco has there double voucher scheme and get one then. I so wanted a Kenwood and couldn't afford it a full price so saved my vouches, double them and in the end it cost me about £10.

Kenwood Prospero, wait for a special offer. Might not last ten years though!
