ds made brownies at school with a recipe he found online, they were fabulous.

He has lost the recipe and cannot remember which website it was on, I have tried googling to no avail.

Does it ring a bell with anyone?

Go here www.weetabix.co.uk/customise-your-cereal

Click on Ready Brek brownies.

Is it possible that the alpen brownies are a variation of this recipie ? Cos Alpen is a lot more ready brek like than normal crunchy meusli. Or at least....that's the way I remember it.

Well my cakes are always cakes....with burned bottoms. Grin

I have a magic touch that dictates no middle shall be cooked under the base layer is carbonised.

I have to make an apple one today. God help me.

Mind you I wouldn't mind giving alpen brownies a shot. Sound like the perfect way to start a day to me.
