why is food always better off someone elses plate?

just tried to eat a bowl of weetabix for breakfast but a certain 2 year old DS wanted to 'share'. i wouldnt mind so much if when i give him weetabix for breakfast i get told 'dont like it, take away'
on the plus side its a great way to get him to eat broccoli

Like when you are in a restaurant and you opt for potatoes to be healthy (Hmm)but DP gets chips, the chip stollen from his plate tastes sooooo good!
