When to freeze homemade chicken/fish nugget/finger type things?

I am making some bread-crumbed chicken 'nuggets' but there will be too many to eat at once. Is it best to freeze them when they are ready to cook e.g. egged and breadcrumbed or cook them and then freeze and reheat?

I would cook them, then freeze them myself.

Sorry Mamma, have to disagree. I'd freeze them raw, on a flat board (roasting tray or chopping board) spread out so that they don't stick together and when they are frozen you can bag them up. I would say if you cook them once then cook them again to warm them up they will get very dry. Just make sure they are totally defrosted before you cook them if you freeze them raw.

Agree with couldtry, freeze before cooking.
