Do you have a recipe for cream cheese frosting?

I'm making a carrot cake for mum's birthday tomorrow, but have never made a cream cheese frosting before.

I would like to try it, so firstly - will it go with a carrot cake? Secondly, although I've googled for recipes, I'd like one that someone else has used and was easy and tastes lovely!

I usually just add icing sugar and lemon juice to taste. I think it goes well with carrot cake.

I always make this cake and frosting www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2005/apr/17/foodanddrink.recipes and I even won a prize in the cake competition at our village fete with it.

Mine is 25g butter, 75g icing sugar, 225g cream cheese and a bit of grated lemon or orange rind. Just mix it all together and use or put it in the fridge until needed It is lovely.
