Frozen rhubarb - to jam or not to jam?

I have got lots of frozen rhubarb which I would like to turn into jam, any reason why I shouldn't? When it defrosts it creates a huge amount of liquid, should I include this in the jam or not? I am unsure whether to drain it off and possibly lose flavour, or if I don't, does the jam get extremely runny? Please help - I have got a jam thermometer at last and am ready to rock!

I've used frozen rhubarb to make jam with no problems at all. No need to drain either IME, just stick it all in.
