I have some lemon thyme, would that be any good?

What else can I add to make it more tasty?

Garlic, olive oil and black pepper are my standard additions to baked fish. Herbs if I have some. Lemon thyme sounds lovely.

grated cheddar, butter & a chopped tomato, all mashed up - spoonful or two as a topping, then bake

yum both those sound lovely..

think I will add some chopped veg with olive oil, garlic and lemon thyme, and a dash (or 2!)of white wine.
Will that work?
How long should they be in oven?

Herbs, slices of lemon, splash of wine, matchsticks of carrot, celery etc. Oriental not great for plaice as the fish is too delicate and mild so I wouldn't do chilli with this one. Cook for no more than 20 mins in hot oven. You really don't want it to do much more than get to full heat. Remember it will carry on cooking in its parcel so don't leave wrapped for too long.
