Yes! I made a different one to my usual CCC from a Somerfield magazine, it was sooo delicious and the magic ingredient was a square of dark chocolate. I will go and fish it out ...

Serves 4. prep time 25 mins. cooking time 45 mins.

1 med onion
1 red pepper
1 stick celery
2 cloves garlic
1 large red chilli (I used 1 tsp crushed dried chillies instead) or you can use 1 tbsp hot chilli powder)
2tbsp oil
500g lean mince
400g can chopped toms
30ml tomato puree
300ml beef stock
400g can red kidney beans
1 square dark plain chocolate (try not to eat the rest!)

Rougly chop the onion. dice pepper and celery.
Chop/crush/mash the garlic.
(if using real chilli): Holding chilli at the stem end, slice it as finely as poss. Remove the seeds if you prefer a milder flavour.
Heat oil in a large pan, fry onion for about 4 mins to just soften. Add peppers, celery, garlic and chilli (only if using the real thing, if using crushed dried chillies you add them at the same time as the tinned tomatoes).
Fry for 2-3 mins to soften.
Add mince and cook on high heat for 2-3 mins until it changes colour.
Add tinned toms, (dried chilli), tomato puree and stock, bring to boil and reduce heat to low.
Stir in chocolate, cover pan and leave to simmer for about 30 mins, stirring occasionally.
Add drained kidney beans, stir and simmer for further 10 mins.
Voila! Enjoy Smile
