Roast potatoes and mashed carrot

DD & her best friend loved it

So do I repeat or do I add new ingredients?

Ie onions, peppers & tomatoes?

Or do I leave well alone

roasted onions have a sweet taste. lush. add one new ingredient at a time.

They are 8 so I'm not too worried about introducing the new stuff - I just thought it was a bit bland

Those are the best soups IMO.

Everytime we have leftovers from roast dinners, I make a soup.
Throw in everything, including the gravy.
Very tasty.

give it a go!

not so much because of age but because if you add more than one ingredient at a time, you won't know what made the taste 'better' or 'worse' if you added 2. eg: a bit of onion can be flavour enhancing without tasting like 'onion' iyswim. too much onion can be overkill. (but in my case, its difficult to add too much onions to anything.Wink)

Fry the potato (no extra oil)

Add mashed carrot and some stock (I used Veggie)

Blend

add worcester sauce and parsley

Mix 50/50 with milk and voila you have soup

My Auntie Do from the Isle of Man was like that....everything went in the soup

I added onion and parsley today and it was a great success
