Veggies / vegans, what do you miss most?

I have this hankering for startlingly fresh fish in a crisp light batter. With chips and mushy peas.

Makes a change from the usual yearnings for bacon butties, I guess.

For ages after I became veggie I craved sausages. I don't really miss anything these days, but have fond memories of Cantonese lemon chicken.

I missed bacon sarnies for the 1st few years, but now there's nothing that could tempt me. Now if I were to give up chocolate that would be another thing! Grin

i also had a major craving for mcdonalds once! i went and got one and it was so vile!!!!!

rare steak, was quite tempted to have a friends when we were out and they left one untouched as it was too rare.......well it was going in the bin any way!

I'm not strictly a veggie but live in a veggie household. The things I can't resist are pork pies and sausage rolls - so I'm always very happy at a buffet Grin

F&Z -I craved fish just like that when I was pregnant -don't know why because I was never a fan of fish before being veggie. I could just imagine these big white flakes in the batter. Never gave in to it though.

Not really tempted by anything to be honest.

i miss having a choice in restaurants other than jacket potato, omlette or 'veggie special of the day'. dont actually miss meat at all
