will be going to Pizza Express Dean Street for dinner with my bezzie mate when I come back to London on holiday sans enfants in September

noddyholder · 09/03/2006 14:47

mazztstar I love that wine too I don't even know what it is!

BettySpaghetti · 09/03/2006 14:50

Veneziana -but without the sultanas (can't bear them cooked, warm and squidgy)

hunkermunker · 09/03/2006 14:54

SW, are you going to have a MN meet-up when you come over in September? You could sit people at tables with topics in envelopes (tit/teat, early/late weaning, SAHM/WOHM, 4x4x/walking, etc, etc) and you could ask what you ask so well.

Perhaps not. Am in an odd mood Grin

chicagomum · 09/03/2006 14:57

Quick hijack - Hunker Sherlock is discrediting your good name \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=1375&threadid=153629&stamp=060309140650\here} . Grin .

suzywong · 09/03/2006 14:58

SNORT! that's a great idea

let's draw up a list of opposing teams and let the games begin

I am seeing one or two MNers, it is true

hunkermunker · 09/03/2006 14:59

I know, CM - she started the thread at this very keyboard Grin I had to humour her, she'd brought lunch for me Wink

cupcakes · 10/03/2006 10:35

Fimbo - dod you enjoy your pizza?
I can't remember if they had the packs last time we went there - we have also been to st giles recently too so maybe we got them there.
I like sitting in the restaurant at the forum - the gallery bit is too quiet!

cod · 10/03/2006 10:35

compo · 10/03/2006 10:36

ooh I'm going there this lunchtime!!

cupcakes · 10/03/2006 10:42

I've never tried the egg one but I might branch out. Have been having the same old ones for years (because I love them) but am getting bored.

krabbiepatty · 10/03/2006 10:44

Anyone think they have got worse? Or maybe the other chains have got better? (Zizzi, Strada)

fimbo · 10/03/2006 13:22

I had the new one - Diavolo NEW
This is a devil of a pizza – hot and spicy, packed with spicy beef, peperoni, onions and Tabasco, made extra fiery with hot green peppers or jalapenos.

It was nice but Sloppy is better!

Cupcakes - we sat on the "bridge". It was very busy with the pre-theatre brigade. Ds was quite well behaved which makes a change! Grin

fimbo · 10/03/2006 13:23

Oh and Cupcakes I saw Stuart White prancing around in the BBC Studios! I bet you are jealous of me aren't you? LOL Grin

cupcakes · 10/03/2006 17:05
Grin He did our Christmas lights last year. He said 'is that it?'
jac34 · 10/03/2006 17:18

Mine is La Reine
My DS's love the American, they also love the dough balls as a starter, I usually just have some olives.

krabbiepatty · 10/03/2006 17:27

Why don't they have a kids'menu?

anteater · 10/03/2006 17:45

They have definitely got worse...

katierocket · 10/03/2006 17:51

soho - the one with rocket (obviously)

Blu · 10/03/2006 17:52

Capricciosa.

yes, smaller pizzas, lower quality ingredients.

Why would you want a kids menu in a pizza restaurant?

They do the best free pack ofr kids.

noddyholder · 10/03/2006 18:05

Llove those roasted chilli nut/seeds that they do as a starter

cod · 10/03/2006 18:17
