Mine is Jamie Oliver's minestrone soup. One jar of pasta sauce, one tin of mixed beans, stock. The only extra stuff you need is cheese and bread.

I need inspiration for those evenings when the idea of real cooking is just too much.

Pasta bake...
Penne
peppers
jar sauce
mattessons sausage
cheese on top

if I have it in ill also stick a garlic bread in and open a bag of rocket.

Do you have to cook the pasta first?

Chicken and ham bake -

Cooked chicken
Chopped up ham
Tin of condensed chicken soup
Tin of sweetcorn
Mix together and top with plain crisps

Heat through in moderate oven

Serve with garlic bread or crusty bread

I do but yo dont have to - if youd rather not, put dried pasta in, add contents of jar and then fill the jar with water and add that too.

Rice with whatever veg is dying in the fridge cook in chicken stock. Or with leftover chicken and bacon.

Or spanish omelette again with dying any veg leftover and cheese.

Love the dying vegetable theme. Spanish omelettes have saved many an evening. Is there anything you can't put in them?

If I have to make something from nothing it is usually risotto.

Rice, chicken stock and whatever is left in the fridge. (leftover meat, veg, even frozen peas if necessary.)
