All my life I have wanted to like porridge, it looks so good, but I just don't like it. Do you have a good recipie (not too much sugar!) that I might like? Smile.

I've got two favourites.
First one: Porridge, wtaer, little milk in the pan. Add raisins, a little sugar and some cinnamon.
Second- Very healthy one lol. Porridge, water, milk and a couple of mashed bananas. You don't need to add any sugar as they make it really sweet.
Both taste gorgeous and me & the kids love them

I use the microwave - much quicker, no burnt pans.
Try rolled oats, milk - enough to get a pasty consistency (never exact about proportions). Takes about a minute in microwave - watch it so it bubbles all over and then is done. Stir well and add a little milk to cool and loosen it.
Try with a little splenda instead of sugar/golden syrup (DD1s fav), jam, cream and dash of whisky (xmas special), some raisins (soaked in rum..only kidding), chopped apple and a sprinkle of sugar and cinnamon is nice - esp if pureed a bit first. I even like some chopped nuts and raisins - the texture thing is nice.
