Hi,
Just doing my shopping list again I'm putting the same old stuff down... again!!! I have 3 DC (8, 5 and 1) and they are a little bit fussy. DS1 hates anything that looks like a vegetable (can have veg soup tho) but loves fish and DS2 loves veg but dislikes meat and fish. DS3 is too young to have an opinion!

I dont pander to their fussiness and so only make one meal - but I do try to make sure meat and veg are quite seperate (i.e no stirfry etc) so at least they are not immediately put off.

My standard meal list is - fish and egg pie, spag bol, bbq chicken and rice, sauage and mash, fish fingers, chick curry... but i need more ideas!!! Cous cous went down like a lead balloon last time I tried it.

Are there any good not too complicated receipe books I could try. i work 4 days a week so dont have much time either.

Annabel Karmel's Family Meal Planner perhaps?

I found the Jamie Oliver website quite good for inspiration. I quite like the celeriac gratin from there..

Also you could try
spaghetti meatballs
Stuffed potatoes involves micro waving scooping out spud turning it into mash and. Adding whatever vege or a bit of salmon cheese and putting back (blue cheese and bacon if you want to be posh for adults). Then grilling.
Colcannon
Roast chicken
Broad bean dip
Burgers - we put egg and pineapple in ours
Home made pizza (buy pre made bases) and get kids to assist ( although my ds tends to munch on the grated cheese)
Quiche
Mussels (can buy frozen and add to risotto while cooking).
