A recipe for come dine with me!

Not the real come dine with me... My family and I are having our own competition in centre parcs next week.

We have entrees: breadsticks and jones bread with homemade houmous, tapenade and blue cheese and walnut dip.
Starter: mini welsh rarebit cooked on mushroom and served with homemade green tomato chutney
And dessert we're having something Italian I can't remember the name of.

Any ideas for a main course? I want something no one will have tried before, or a modern twist on a classic. Can't b too time consuming as we have 2dc to look after as well, and I'll only have access to the utensils etc in the lodge.

Pork tenderloin, sliced into thickish slices, lightly fried than braised with sliced mushrooms and a good heaped teaspoonful of smoked paprika. Serve with rice and a green salad (Mary Berry in the Aga book).

Just cook the pork until done. If you leave it too long, it loses a lot of the flavour.

Ooh Marks dine in for £10 sometimes as pork loin in cider cream sauce- it's gorgeous. Could try and recreate that.

Slow cooker.

A pork hock per person.

lightly dust the hocks with flour.

Add about 1/2 a pint of cider, and about a 1/4 pint boiling water.

Once cooked yu can thicken the liquid in a saucepan and make it into a sauce.

serve with mashed potato and a green veg.

Or for a variation on toad in the hole, use lamb chops instead of sausages.
