If you were going to put beetroot in a curry

Would it be best to boil or fry to soften first?

If it was fresh from the ground raw beet i would boil it first than add.

I would cook it on it's own if it was raw, and thern carefully fold it into the curry once it was cooked so as not to turn the whole dish pink.

Thanks :) One vote for both - what would you do OMDB, boil or fry? (Would be easier to fry..)

Have bunged it in the pan with some other veg to fry up now Grin

It was left over from a veg bag - I made a curry the other week with a jar and added way too much sauce for the amount of chicken so just froze the sauce with small amount of chicken in to add random veg to!
