I went to a village fete this weekend and bought a plate of a YUMMY traybake; clearly bad for the teeth, waistline and everything else, but so, soooo nice. But I have no idea what it was called, or how it might be made. Does anyone recognise this from the description and can you tell me how to make it? Plleeeaaaasse!!
It looked like a light coloured version of rocky road, cut into squares, so I assume traybake rather than a biscuit / bar. There were marshmallows in it, maltesers (I think), broken up biscuits (Oreos?), and dried fruit, and a few of what looked like little purple gummy hemisphere shaped sweets. The stuff that glued it all together clearly included some white chocolate, but I'm not sure what else (sugar? butter? condensed milk?). Slightly caramel-ish, perhaps? It had a fairly hard texture rather than being chewy, but an addictive melt in the mouth thing going on. If this sounds like something that you make, and you can help me replicate it at home, my hungry hubby will be a happy man :o oh, and me too.......

Could it be a version of fifteens?

Sainsburys did a fridge cake for Easter a few years ago using marshmallows, pink wafers and mini eggs - it could be an adaptation of that?

yes yes yes yes - thank you! I had been googling rocky road / tiffin recipes, but a search under 'white chocolate fridge cake' produced some recipes and pictures that look like the right kind of stuff, perhaps with some different bits and bobs chucked in. Even if they are not the same, with that list of ingredients, how can it taste bad?!!! Will be hitting the shops in search of the ingredients, and having some sugary fun over the weekend...

Fridge cake is never bad. Also good for making with children, my mum always made it with us.
