....Since the news of the outbreak of the bird flu?
My family and I are still eating it but I do know people who live in my area that have stopped.

I can't afford to stop eating chicken really as it makes up alot of our diet as the kids aren't so keen on other meats.

No, but then we continued to eat beef all through the BSE scare! (poor students + cheap beef = lots of beef dinners) Whether that was wise or not I don't know, but chicken is fine, I'm sure!

Don't eat it anyway but am slightly concerned about taking dd to feed the ducks. What if she got some bird poo on her hand (v over crowded pond, lots of poo) and then put it in her mouth? Could she catch it that way??
