'camp' chicory and coffee essence - how much to use to make 24 coffee fairy cakes

Hi all - does anyone know how much Camp essence to use in a victoria sponge cake recipe?..I'm using 150 g of butter/sugar/flour and 3 eggs, to make 24 coffee fairy cakes. I don't want to put too much in!

in my Hugh F-W recipe, he uses 50ml for a 3 egg sponge.

wow, really, that sounds like loads. Does hugh specify actual Camp, or just coffee essence? I was thinking more like 3 or 4 teaspoons, but maybe I do need more!
any one else want to give me guidance?

camp coffee.

200g flour
200g butter
200g sugar
3 eggs
50ml camp coffee
100g walnuts
25-50ml milk

Thanks Bloocow, That's useful. I didn't doubt you but don't want to make people choke either! I'm using less flour than him so I'll use a little less camp but still more than planned. I'm making them for my mother to take to her WI meeting. Luckily as they are fairy cakes I can taste one!
