I found a brownie recipe on here & i can't remember who posted it but oooh my gosh! Thank you! First time i made it with dairy milk both dark & milk & to be honest, it wasnt bad. 2nd time round i used sainsburys dark & milk choc. Made all the difference & whats better is...brownies have never been so easy to make & DD loves making brownies with me! Its simple. Fun. and best of all....tasty!

Ooh...any ideas on what to put in brownies...walnuts is obviously a fave but any new things that really make brownies special?

I use a modified version of Nigella's recipe in "How to be a Domestic Goddess". I switch the quantities of chocolate and sugar, and use 80% dark chocolate. They're more of an adult taste than a kid's one, but they're very popular.

Another vote for the non frosted version from the Hummingbird Bakery.

As to what to put in them - anything chocolatey! Cut-up Tunnocks teacakes, mars bars, Cadburys caramel, snickers etc.etc. Mmmmmm...yum.

I should also add that if you're ever near Fairford in Gloucestershire then visit the 7a coffee shop - they are a centre of excellence for brownies :o. 9 or so different varieties on sale each day and flipping perfect.
