What can I make for my lovely friends who are coming to stay overnight?

I have two friends and their teenager daughter who are coming to stay in a week's time just for one night. We are in England and they are coming over from Australia.

I have the day off work and they will be here late afternoon so I would like to do something that I can reheat rather than cook while they are here. I know that during the day I will be frantically cleaning and sorting the house!!

So any ideas please? I thought about lasagne, garlic bread, salad, maybe antipasti before hand. I don't want to spend hours cooking so would buy garlic bread etc.

Any other ideas? DH says "Whatever you like!" so he is no bloody help!! Grin

Just looked elsewhere on this thread and have decided on Eton Mess for pudding!

Chilli, jacket spuds, garlic bread, salad.

Moussaka is better made in advance Smile and reheats better than lasagne!
Serve with some greek salad and nice bread.
Would work well with the antipasta too....

Thanks for the ideas! DH is not a great fan of baked potatoes but he loves moussaka, though I have only ever bought ready made Blush. Reckon I will give that a try. Thanks!
