Pre outdoor theatre picnic. Friends are variously bringing: chicken, pasta salad, Greek salad and pudding. Need to think of a contribution to bring to serve 4. Quiche would be naice but pastry is my nemesis and shop bought quiches always look sooo shop bought. Ideas please

Spanish tortilla? Lots of potato and onion so you can slice it into thick wedges.

Quiche but make the filling yourself and cook it in a bought pastry case

That menu is crying out for a quiche IMHO.

Loaves of naice bread and assorted cheeses?

home made pizza? i really like it cold.

Spanish omlette. Quich without the pastry!

Considered naice bread, olives antipasti type effort to have as a starter instead of alternative main course. Is that cheating as won't actually be cooking?
Spanish omelette v.good idea. I make a tasty frittata with chorizo, chargrilled peppers and feta. Might be nice?

Sounds perfect.

Sound nice. I do one with red onion, chorizo, sweet potato and goats cheese which is also lush

I like the look of this using ready made pastry. Like a pork pie but not too heavy. Could substitute with chicken livers or pork belly instead

Tuna and rice dish
