cous cous - never made it before what's your favourite way?

So I've never made it myself, I've had bad cous cous served to me before so want some ideas please. My fab is tge m&s roasted veg one Grin

well I use the Ainsley Harriet packet one! It's really nice in a chargrilled scooped out pepper. Oops sorry that's what you said you have already had.

Pomegranate seeds and mint with a pinch of chili is lovely!

I melt some butter in a pan, mix in the couscous, top with boiling water and leave to sit. With lid on.

Then you can add in what you like or serve on it's own

Well you can do it warm - soak in chicken stock and add spices like cinnamon, cumin, coriander, paprika, stir-fried or char-grilled veg, toasted pine nuts, raisins. Add a knob of melted butter.

Or cold - grate cucumber, finely chop tomatoes and add all the seeds, add olive oil and lemon juice, fresh mint, fresh parsley. Both are delicious.

I make my with chicken stock, not water, add a bit of butter and seasoning and mix with roasted peppers, tomato, red onion and butternut squash.
