I really like Jill Dupleix. Her recipes always seem so accessible!

Can I use breasts instead, don't like fiddly bones

And can I use bought rosemary instead of stolen?

yoyo · 22/02/2006 11:43

I made this too Cod and the children did enjoy it. Felt the pasta allocation was meagre so upped it a bit, used red wine as was open and substituted pancetta for bacon. Tasted really good but will add some mushrooms next time I think as it was rather basic. Needs something like green salad with it for texture. Easy peasy to make though!

OO - I will use breasts next time and will reduce the simmering time accordingly. The bones are messy (appeals to children though!). Could sling in some drumsticks or wings just for the flavour.

There are some people on here, yoyo, who appear to play very fast and loose with recipes.

I can't ever stick to one to the letter either.
