I have been trying to up our fish intake here so I purchased some river cobbler from the fishmongers... except what do I do with it now? Any recipe suggestions very gratefully received!

Treat it as you would any other delicate-ish fish ie pan fry, or steam, or foil packet with herbs/butter in the oven.

I usually just do fish with boiled pots and salad, whether its breaded, fresh, fried - whatever. It makes a lovely simple combo for supper :) good luck!

Foil packet, lemon juice, soy sauce, water (about a tablespoon of each), mangetout, very finely sliced carrots, baby sweet corn. Gas 6 for 10 min. Serve with noodles. Could also have root ginger, lime juice, beansprouts etc in foil.

Hope yours tastes better than the ones I bought to try for the 1st time recently!
I love all fish but this tasted muddy to me and I couldn't eat itSad

Thanks for the suggestions! Used foil packet like I would with salmon with soy, ginger and lemon! It was quite nice, but yeah devonsmummy there is a kind of muddy taste to it isn't there?
