...arriving this weekend for a month. She also needs foods to be quite "saucy" (ie not dry) and not spicy. Any suggestions for meat/veg sauces that are good with rice, baking (cakes, biscuits etc) and any other brilliant ideas gratefully received.

Peanut Butter cookies

I eat gluten free. All meat and veg are fine as long as you use cornflour to thicken sauces and not normal flour. Don't buy ready made sauces as they often have flour in.

Buy Genius Bread from the gluten free section of a supermarket. Its quite good if fresh.

Doves farm do good gluten free pasta which tastes fine and is available in big Sainsbury supermarkets and online.

Puddings/cakes are more tricky but if she can tolerate lactose (ie milk sugar) then something like a Pavlova with cream and fresh fruit is good for the whole family.
