Slow cooker broke whilst cooking! Can I still eat it?

I've made a stew this morning in the slow cooker, and I've just got back to discover it has stopped cooking at some point. The food is slightly warm, I reckon it stopped cooking about 3.5 hrs ago. Do you think I would be ok to transfer it to the oven and heat again? Am I just asking for food poisoning?! I just hate throwing food away, and there was enough for 8 meals in there! V annoyed Angry

Vegetarian or meat-based?

What I would do:
Veggie- eat without worrying (once it's boiled at least 5min)
Pork or Chicken- cry while binning it
Beef- dunno, depends how daring I felt that night :o

It's beef. Going to give it a go. I have a pretty strong stomach!
