My son won't eat many fillings but will eat smoked salmon sandwiches (expensive taste like his mum) :0 but I'm worried if it will be ok to be in lunch bag from 9am till 12 when they eat?!?! I would put cool pack in obviously but is that still safe?!?!?!?! Thanks

I'd think so.

Smoking fish was originally a way to preserve it before people had fridges, so it should be OK

M&S do a good lunchbag/coolbag with a separate pocket for the icepack.
I used to give my DD ham/chicken sandwiches, and I'd put the lunchbag in the fridge overnight with the frozen icepack (it would still be hard the next morning) and then send it to school, and it was alway OK.
