Help! 1yr old fussy with finger food and spits out everything I feed her!

My 12 month old is really fussy with finger food, will eat pasta, strawberries, bananas, avocado and sometimes cheese and nothing else - everything else just gets swept onto the floor. I keep trying her with carrots steamed and raw), corn, broccoli, apple, etc,
With feeding her I have to mash it quite finely still, but in the last week or so she just spits it all out without swallowing- even porridge and fruit purée.

I'm going spare as I just don't know what to feed her, am throwing so much away, and soooo don't want a fussy eater if here's anything I can do about it.

Help!

Is she taking milk Weesa? And is she teething a lot at the moment? Wondering if she was eating pasta, strawberries, cheese etc up to the last week but is now spitting out all solids, whether she could be uncomfy? Does she seem her usual self apart from this? No cold etc?

If she isn't teething etc then it might be worth ringing your HV. If she is drinking her milk as usual then you could just try leaving the solids out for a day or two and then trying again with things she has enjoyed before. It's a long long time since I had weaning issues (dd is 26 now) but I still remember how worrying it is when they don't eat. Your little one has tried quite a good range of things for a 12 month old so as long as she is offered lots of different tastes and you don't show any upset when she rejects anything, I'm sure she'll not be a fussy eater. It's prob a little blip. It is horrid having to throw piles of stuff out though.

Thanks Tuna. She has had a horrible cold, but the spitting thing started before that.
She is BF and I am still feeding, so can top her up (and she has been waking multiple times during the night!) And I think she may have a tooth coming in too now you mention it...

Awww poor little mite. Wonder if her mouth is a bit sore/tender and that's why she's launching everything back out? U could just try her with something she's enjoyed a few times a day when she seems relaxed (so she doesn't forget about solids and want only milk again) and if she's not happy about it to try again later. If it carries on your HV will probably have some useful advice. Hope she soons starts tucking in again. Esp if she's waking more at night :(
