Please help me think of ideas for my menu plan

I really need to menu plan - I'm hating cooking at the moment and taking far too long over it.

We don't really have a repertoire of meals, as our various dietary requirements have been changing lately. I am very bored with the things we do eat regularly - and in the stage of pg, which doesn't help. My 2 y.o. is also fairly fussy.

I need things that are:

  • economical
  • reasonably quick to prepare (I'm a very slow cook, and am often 'assisted' by DS)
  • don't need much attention at the last stage of cooking
  • high protein (not low-carb though)
  • no nuts
  • not involving a lot of dairy other than milk, cream cheese, cream & yoghurt
  • no tomatoes (or a non-tomato version easy to make & freeze in portions for DS)
  • no chillies or strong spicies (or a non-spicy version easy to make & freeze in portions for DS)
  • don't involve mash of any sort

Our current list of meals is:

Salmon cooked in foil (fishfingers for DS)
Tuna & white sauce with pasta (fishfingers for DS)
Leftover roast chicken & white sauce pasta
Mince & jacket potatoes / rice
Roast meat
White fish in white sauce with pasta / potatoes
Casseroles made with stock or alcohol (1 per week or fortnight)

Any suggestions?

combine with creme fresh.

Some things I cook include: savoury bread & butter pudding, savoury crumble, frittata (baked spanish omelette), lentil dhal & rice, quiche/tart, veg stew, pasta bake, macaroni cheese, savoury pancakes. Have left out all my tomato-based recipes!
