I have turkey breast slices in a sealed pack but the use by date was the 10th still ok??

I would use it unless it smelled bad.

It is only the 11th. Always makes me smile as if at midnight the food suddenly goes off

I don't eat meat but would say definatley ok unless it smells bad. DH would eat if a week or so out of date if it passed the smell test

If it smells OK I'd eat them, but I'd eat them today.

Look at it

If it looks OK, smell it

If it smells OK, taste it

If it tastes OK, eat it

It will be fine, assuming it has been constantly refridgerated. Just sniff it first to be certain.

Use-by dates are a guideline as far as I'm concerned!

Well it depends if it is naice turkey or not! If it is cheap stuff it's probably full of preservatives and will keep for ages longer. It's only half a day over the use by date, I'd take a risk

Turkeys can read calendars. That's how they know when to vote for Christmas.

Does it look and smell ok? If so, eat and enjoy.

If not, feed to the DH dog.

There is a healthy disregard for sell by/use by dates. If its not walking itself to the bin then it generally gets eaten. Not killed anyone yet
