in praise of lidl's aisle of surprise

What a fab shop! Today's surprise snails-with their very excellent french bread followed by marinated pork and pommes dauphinoise. Shame the wine is pants although the prosecco is good. Get down there if you've missed out!

I love LIDL too though I can't do my whole shop there. My store doesn't stock lentils or always have fresh chillies for example. I've never been brave enough to try their wine so good to kno the prosecco is good. I can highly recommend their vaccum pack muscles in cream and white wine sauce.

I love ALDI too. I would prob do all my shopping there except I think it's just a wee bit more expensive. They won't take my bank card either as they only take specific debit cards in the ALDI stores in R of Ireland. Probably just as well really as I kno my shop cost would double with all the nice goodies.

Haven't been to Lidl this week as I didn't need much and managed to get it all from the market. Sounds like I've been missing out .
