Well, just go for it, but avoid the thick (udon?) noodles - they remind me of snot.

I like a noodle soup bowl with a side of dumplings

yum

Caligula · 10/02/2006 22:11

I LOVE the Udon noodles things. Not at all like snot. (Very odd snot you've got, puff! )

I haven't yet had anything there I didn't actually like.

hoxtonchick · 10/02/2006 22:13

oooooh, chicken ramen (bit boring but i do love it), dumplings, edamame, cha han (rice), tama chicken (also rice, fab sauce). not all at once, clearly....

soapbox · 10/02/2006 22:14

Seafood ramen[yum]

When the heck are you coming to London BTW[grrrrr]

hoxtonchick · 10/02/2006 22:15

lets have a wagamama meet up . oh god, i'm obsessed.

puff · 10/02/2006 22:16

lol caligula - I've enjoyed them in other japanese restaurants, but the last couple of times, wagamamas seemed to have boiled the bum off them!

ScummyMummy · 10/02/2006 22:17

I had chicken chilli men today. And raw salad on the side.

soapbox · 10/02/2006 22:18

Woohoooo!! Hark at you 'Chicken chille men' Hot were they

hoxtonchick · 10/02/2006 22:26

raw salad, pmsl (not at you scummy, merely the description}.

chicken yakitori nice too.

ScummyMummy · 10/02/2006 22:31

That's why i ordered them both! Chilli men sounded great. The raw salad was, er, salad.

we have a Wagamamamamamma in Perth now. going to the grand opening on Friday.
It's very exciting

All we need is Boots, Waitrose and Argos and I'll be very happy.

Am I the only one who thinks Wagamama is over rated? Food is ok but I don't like their 'philosophy', which seems to me 'eat up quick and fuck off', uncomfortable seating and all that. Japanese Ikea

suzywong · 11/02/2006 23:23

SPRAY

we always used to take the kids to the one in Camden when they were very little as the food was reliable, came quick and the kids could make noise and roam around. Also there was a trio of extrememly handsome African chefs at whom I could gawp on account of the open kitchen.
