Clearing out storecupboard - shelf life of cup-a-soups/slim-a-soups?

We have a load of cup-a-soup sachets out of their box - DH wants to keep but I am not convinced. I cannot remember when we bought them, 12mths minimum. Has anyone an idea of the shelf life, they don't have a date on because I think it was on the outer carton? Both Cup-a-soup and Slim-a-Soup!!

Given that they're mainly salt, probably they last indefinitely. Just as vile as the day they were bought

I doubt they'll kill you no matter how old - if your DH wants them, let him keep them so long as he uses them up.
