I want to do pulled pork (thanks slow cooker thread!) I went out, purchased a lovely boneless shoulder or pork, lovingly rubbed it with my top secret rub.

Looking at it though, it's not going in the slow cooker, well not without squishing it in and filling the whole thing (sob)

Can I cook it in a very low oven? I have a fan, electric oven? I need it cooked to a meltingly amazing shredableness by tomorrow for a BBQ. Please help!

I don't think I have 24hrs :( its 3kg joint, I wonder how long it would take at 100c? And would I add fluid/oil? Cover or not cover? ARGH!

and haha my DP would giggle at the title Grin

Can you halve the joint? Cook in two batches?

Jamie's one looks good, do you think the veg and wine are essential? I ask purely because I don't want gravy or jus, just the meat to mix with my BBQ sauce.

I was thinking of cutting it in half, there is a lot to feed though ...

I made the executive decision to break the cleaver out and now I have a 1.5kg joint in the slow cooker and after an initial blast on max heat, the other 1.5Kg joint on an 100c oven. Both will stay there overnight. I'm debating on weather or not I should stick a can of coke in with either??
