They have refunded me the money because it was over double the size (and price) of the one i ordered and was not listed on the substitute list. Anyway my problem is that it didn't arrive until now and i was planning on slow cooking it with bbq sauce and coke as a previous poster recomended and it will be out of date tommorrow but will it still be ok? I wouldn't mind if it was cooked on a high heat but because it is so low in the slow cooker and dd will be eating it too i am abit worried.....?

It should be fine - the killing effect of cooking for pathogens is a combination of the heat x time effect. So a lower temperature for longer has the same result as higher temperature for shorter.

I would go ahead but make sure I cooked it before the use-by date. :)
