A nice chewy gooey chocolate crispie cake recipe?

Hi,

Does anyone have a nice recipe for a chocolate crispie cake that will make it a bit chewy / gooey rather than crunchy? I've made it before with just melted chocolate and rice crispies but it was just a bit crunchy and I wanted something softer.

I'm assuming it would need syrup or something in it?

Add some marshmallows . They give. Chewiness

I make mine with melted mars bars and dairy milk, and add some milk to the melted chocolate to make it go further. I et lovely chewy gooey crispie cakes that don't quite solidify in the fridge and are a little melty

I think you need golden syrup and cocoa powder. Will see if I can find recipe.

2oz icing sugar
2oz cocoa (although if DC 'helping' more like 3!)
2oz butter
2 good big tablespoons of golden syrup

Put all the above on a low heat, melt together but don't let it boil.
Pour it over a bowl of 3 oz cornflakes and stir for ages till all coated.

Google chocolate cracknell and you will find a recipe on a website something called something like School Dinners

Mars bar squares
3-4 mars bars
4 oz butter
2 tbsp golden syrup

Melt together slowly over med heat ....stir lots
Stir in rice crispies
Press into round springform tin.
Cover with layer of melted choc
Sprinkle w smarties

Voila - best birthday cake

100g rice crispies
50g mars bars
50g marshmallows
50g butter

Melt all together then mix together
