Don't fancy eating anything and food is such a chore. A boring, tiresome, appreciation-free chore. I need to feed 2 adults plus toddler full time, 2 and a half year old twins for all food for three days a week, plus enough afterschool snacks to keep 3 growing boys happy. Help me, before I cry.

Do a real shop in real shops.
I'm sure you have forgotten how pleasant it can be.
Tesco is soul destroying.

Dh won't take me (hates it) and he's busy tomorrow (I don't drive). I know it will cost a fortune if I just get it in dribs and drabs over the week.... argh.

Well,in that case, arguably a real Tesco shopping trip better than virtual one.
Go at night when it's quiet.
(He should bloody take you when it suits you,if you are doing the cooking!)

I know... might try n sweet talk mil on sunday into letting me go with her. It ends up more expensive (impulse buys) but its stressing me out!

What about the free buses they do to supermarkets? never done it but my Mum goes on them and dosen't moan about it (she moans about every thing else!)

moondog · 03/02/2006 22:30

Why shoulds she go on the bus??
Her dh is dutybound to take her I reckon!!

GeorgieVickyLou · 03/02/2006 22:36

how about get up before him and go on the bus then he will be extra busy looking after the little ones

Agree you shouldn't have to go on the bus. I buy on line i got so fed up with it i thought i would not bother in the hope DP would - hell no, we had no food but still he didn't do anything about it

Take yours during the day and you'll enjoy shopping online so much more! I know I have reputation at all the local supermarkets, shouting at my boys from beginning to end 'don't touch that, don't run, don't, well, anything really' . Then try a late night shop - veg will be crap but everything else blissful.
