So wish I'd seen the threads concerning NL's B.Ms before I tried making them. Have recently become a S.A.H.M and this week took to baking. Blew off the dust of NL's supposedly trusted book... only to find that the gooey sloppy sludge did not resemble gooey sloppy sludge at all. No! let's try a dough ball! I took to checking out other recipes and realised there was not enough liquid! I beat up a couple of eggs and beat them in, which happened to save the day.
Her timings are VERY out too. Take off a good 10 mins cook time, and you will be saved from burnt offerings.
