whats for dinner?

been a while since ive seen one of these around so what are you having tonight?

in the zoo house its a bean and pesto stew with rice

Take away something or other.

Butternut Squash Soup with lime and a coconut-peanut relish.

Dcs normally eat what were eating but tonight they have friends over so they are all having quorn bolognese.

Last night was fish pie, carrots & brocolli.

Tonight is lamb & pea curry with peas pilau (big pea fans here) with parkin or chocolate muffins for pudding. It's been a good week for home cooking!

Beer tonight too - first alcohol of the week

All this talk of take aways.

Chicken thighs in tomato, paprika and sour cream.
Rice and salad.

Dug some home made bolognaise sauce out of the freezer, and topped it with mashed potato thanks to some slave labour potato peeling from the DCs. Fruit from the veg box for pudding. Jolly nice as well.

Rump steak with roasted vegetables , stearing clear of the carbs. However treating myself to a couple glasses of wine after being very good and abstaining for 2 weeks.

Last night on my own after a week of peace, so I popped to the Italian deli for burrata which I ate with a little salad of cherry tomatoes/basil/olive oil, and some delicious fresh baguette from my local bakery. And a half a bottle glass of good Italian red!

We had homemade (totally from scratch) pizza. I had salami, chorizo, artichokes and olives on mine.

Dh made pork medallions with pepper sauce, mashed potato and cauliflower cheese which was the nicest cc i have ever had.
