Pork Belly - it's rolled in a joint, will it cook the same as a flat piece?

Or should I just undo it and lie it flat?! Never cooked it round before, but the only piece big enough was already rolled as a joint and I am really not sure if it makes any difference. Absolutely crucial that we still get the crackling, so possibly I simply cook in the same way for the same time but any advice gratefully received.

TIA.

Oo, I'm doing pork belly this weekend but not bought it yet. A very nice MNer has posted somewhere else a delicious sounding Delia Frugal Cook recipe.

Let me know how you get on (also interested in the answer!)

You can flatten it out but you might find the skin doesn't cover the whole piece.

Although that's not really a problem imho.
