Need a nice, cheapish hob to oven to table casserole dish...any suggestions?

As the thread titles says. I cannot afford but would really like Le Creuset but want something similar that I can stick on the hob to brown stuff, then put in the oven.

I keep seeing cheap ones in TK Maxx but am worried in case they're rubbish.

Sainburys have their own brand Le Creuset rip off on special offer again - we have one and it is wearing well.

I have the m&S version of Le cruseut which is about half the price, but I don't know if the still do it because I can't find it on the website.

Can the Sainsbo's ones go directly onto an electric hob? DP reckons they can't but if they can then I well want one.
