White chocolate icing recipe - do you have a reliable tried and tested?

Need a recipe, very keen it should not be too sweet as for adults not children. Would the quality of the chocolate help with this? I.e. Green & Blacks rather than Milky Bar?
White chocolate is for colour & theme and I'd prefer a buttercream as I find it easier to work with and I won't have loads of time. Let me know your tried and tested please ladies!

Like this idea, have never done it with white chocolate but it would sort out the risk of over sweetness. I hope it's as simple as it sounds as I have limited time for any practice.

Remember if you want pure white icing, you'll need to use chocolate like milky bar, as the better quality stuff is usually more of a yellow colour. I once bought a huge bar of posh white chocolate to use in icing which was meant to look like snow (making an igloo cake!) and then found it was a sort of dirty beige colour with flecks in it!

Good point sing and hopefully the cream option would mean this will still work without too much sweetness - thanks for posting. Hoping to do a small scale trial this weekend of recipe MrsM suggested with fairy cakes if they are good I'll probably make a pig of myself and get an idea of quantity and consistency.
