I've got four quail(s?) in the fridge, what shall I do with them?

As the title suggests! I think I've done these before and treated them like poussin, served one each with roast potatoes and all the rest of it.

I'd like to do something more interesting and, well, tasty! The only one of my cookery books to have a quail recipe is Nigella's, but it involves flattening the bird and marinating all day....

Any thoughts?

Funnily enough, I was just reading in a Delia book this recipe for Roast Quail with Pancetta and Vine Leaves. I was actually wondering where you can get vine-leaves from because it sounded like a nice dish.

I saw that and wondered the same!

I think I'm going to go with this - but will do stuffed mushrooms for starter as we only have 4 quail and I don't want to leave anyone hungry!
