Suitable for a group of 8 including 2 kids under 6. That won't be too noisy (dad has bad tinitus). Preferably near Wylde Green sort of area? For Saturday lunch time.

I thank you.

Which bit of Wylde Green are you nearest to?

There's the Wylde Green pub on the Birmingham Road, which has a Wacky Warehouse type thing attached to it, or if you're closer to the Boldmere end of Wylde Green there's the Harvester (crap food though) or the Bishop Vesey, which is a Wetherspoons.

There's also La Reserve in Sutton Park.

Oh, didn't know there was a TGI's there. Might be a bit loud though. Also, meeting after a funeral the day before - am likely to ram smile down waitresses throat if they do the "everything alright with your meal" thing 15 times in an hour.

Station Road? If you knew how close that was to me you'd run a mile!

TGIs is good but always seems quite noisy to me. There are a couple of other restaurants closer to Sutton, Pizza by Goli is a nice Italian, family friendly and much better food than it sounds as if they'd do! They're on the Birmingham Road almost in Sutton. There's one called Ask as well, but that's quite expensive.
