dd will be 3 years old on the 19th of jan a wk tomorrow have just bought her a cadburys chocolate cake best before date is the 18th of jan will it still be ok?

I watched something on telly once and it said you only need to worry about
"Use by" dates and not worry as much if it says "Best before".

My mum told me they never used to have dates on anything years ago!
