Hi, I'm 5 days overdue with DC2 and going a bit crazy as I can't walk any distance without a lot of pain. My nesting instinct seems to manifest itself in cooking. The house is a tip, but I hate cleaning.

So far I've made beef stew, lamb tagine, bolognese, fish pie and lentil cottage pie for the freezer.
I now have an empty fridge so was thinking of doing an online shop.

Does anyone have any good ideas for more easy freezer meals or what fresh food to buy for quick and easy post-childbirth meals?

Or should I just get on with the cleaning? Wink

I made a massive lasagne and split it up into portions and also a big vat if curry!

The other thing I did was vegetable soup and froze it in portions in heavy duty freezer bags - ideal for the first week or so wgen you need something but are too tired to eat! Get some part baked baguettes to go in the freezer to gave with them.

We had lots of stews and got a load of jacket pots in as they were easier than mash for my husband to do when he had everything else to sort. Few pizzas nice to have with jackets and salad. I think you've done really well doing all you have

Fresh food lots of bananas and bread for toast to keep your energy levels up!

Good luck xx
