Not quite chuck it all in, but this chicken basque one pot from delia is really good.

Chicken & Chorizo Stew -

3 medium chicken breasts diced
100g chorizo sausage sliced and halved again
1 tin cannellini beans
2 tins chopped tomatoes
1/4 pint chicken stock (1 oxo cube)
1/2 red pepper, 1/2 yellow pepper
1 large onion
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 teaspoon chilli powder

Fry off the veg with garlic, add the chorizo, when the oils start releasing add in the chicken and beans, give it a coat in the chorizo oils, add the tomatoes and stock, stir, leave for an hour or so on a low heat. Serve with some brown rice - bloody lovely! It does have quite a kick to it so bare that in mind when adding the chilli powder!

How funny, pretty much the same! :)

Forgot to add 1 tablespoon of tomato puree to my recipe!

hmm not really a pot job, more of an casserole dish job, but anyway, sausages, beans, sliced potatoes, chucked into a casserole dish, add a sausage casserole mix, bang it in the oven for 1-1 half hours, and you've made a lovely beany sausage casserole, which my DS loves!!

Good sausages, cut into big chunks
Onion, wedged
2 apples, wedged

Toss the above in a little oil with a couple of tablespoons each of Dijon mustard and sage. Cook in a hot oven for about half an hour. The smell is heavenly!

Feeling peckish now!! Really like the sound of the sausages and bean casserole - thanks!

Beans are useful, I chop up onion, pepper, garlic, carrot, and chirizo, fry off and add a sprinkle of chilli powder. Once its browned a little add a tin of beans and half a tin of tomatoes and a little veg stock. Turn down to a low heat and simmer for 15 mins or so and serve with jacket potatoes, wedges or home made tortilla chips, or all three, yum!

We do the sausage and beans one too, but just on the hob instead of the oven.

I also do a sausage one like Pish but chuck in whatever veg we have left over that needs eating. I managed to get 5 portions of veg each for DP and me in one dish once . The veg cooks down a bit or roasts depending on what it is.

pork shoulder
garlic
ginger
shredded leeks/onion
white wine/rice wine
soy
stock

all in slow cooker, no need to fry or anything. serve with rice. YUMMERS.
